Open the side panel upward and place the included Classic Bluebird House Nest Lift by Prime Retreat inside the shelter, to elevate the nest off of the base and prevent parasites from reaching the nestlings. This metal frame also makes it simple to monitor the health of the nest and clean below it in moments. The included Erva Black Bluebird House Two Piece Mounting Pole sports a flat top section, which secures to the extended back of the shelter using its included screws. A 12.5" long, step-in base anchors the pole in your soil, and its black, powder coated finish deters rust for a lovely look.
