The generous, front panel allows you to create either a 1.875" diameter round entry or a 2.875" long crescent shaped, starling resistant entrance. Included, plastic plugs in both round and crescent shapes insert into these entries to seasonally close each gourd. Platforms affix to both the exterior and interior of each plastic assembly, acting as both a landing spot and standing area in the gourd. A rod along the front of these platforms provides perching area to the birds, and the white color of each piece helps nestlings remain cool in the summer.
