Crafted of 0.75” thick pine, each home wonderfully meets roosting bluebirds’ needs, thanks to a 1.5” diameter entry on the front. This entrance sits near the top of the home and sports a 0.75” thick wooden block around it, preventing predators from reaching inward and pilfering eggs, and the roof overhangs the opening to keep water away from the nesting chamber. Gaps on the base of each home provide plenty of drainage, while additional slots below the roof line ventilate each domicile. Straightforward assembly makes this package a fantastic craft for a youth group, and each built shelter can be post or wall mounted with its included top hanger.
